HLS ClearKey

ByteArk Player SDK for iOS supports HLS ClearKey playback automatically through AVPlayer. ClearKey is an AES-128 encryption scheme on HLS, suitable for use cases where basic protection is needed but the complexity of Apple FairPlay is not required.

Note

ClearKey is symmetric-key encryption. For premium content that requires higher security, we recommend Apple FairPlay instead.
